AGF, Mike Yerrell and Michelle Scotney, HiTECH was formed as a response to what its founders saw as low standards in the existing integral blinds sector. Joined by long-serving blinds expert Ian Woolley, the team set about designing a product that excelled on all fronts. Magnet-operated for blissfully easy operation, and offering BS EN 1279-accreditation robustness and weather-resistance, the blinds have been successfully cycle- tested to 10,000 cycles. They come backed-up with a no-nonsense 10-year guarantee. The blinds don’t just perform exceptionally, however – they’re also extremely customisable.
The company offers dual-coloured slats to match dual-coloured frames, and can also produce double and triple- glazed units with Georgian bars and other decorative elements.
Company director Michele Scotney comments: “We set ourselves the task of developing the best integrated blinds on the market, backed by brilliant customer service, and we’ve been able to achieve that quicker than we thought possible. But at the same time, we’re not complacent. We’re ambitious about the future – and in the next twelve months and beyond, we want to show the industry just how good integral blinds can be.”
campaign. It was a successful night for both companies as the same campaign was also ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Digital Marketing category.
The winning integrated marketing campaign drove traffic to www.ultion- lock.co.uk, using Dotmailer logic maps to turn visitors into high-quality leads for Brisant’s trade network via the ‘Find A Door That Locks’ tool. The CIM ‘Marketing Excellence Awards’ recognise and reward brilliance in the field of marketing. The judges include representatives from PwC, London Stock Exchange Group and Universal Pictures. MD Lucia Di Stazio says: “The CIM awards cover the best of B2B and B2C marketing. Being shortlisted for
eight awards demonstrates the breadth and level of our achievements for our clients across a range of marketing disciplines. Nominees included high-profile brands such as BT,
Facebook, Marks and Spencer, Moneysupermarket and more, which makes winning on the night all the more impressive.”

Sarah Hitchings, sales and marketing director commented: ‘The existing website for The Residence Collection is visually stunning with the information carefully orchestrated for the consumer and architect. Yet we had a need to create something equally as impressive, but with key messages, content and downloads for the trade. She continued: ‘This new platform is the perfect environment in which the trade can experience our considerable products USP’s, unrivalled marketing support and ultimately strong financial returns.’
The Residence Collection has just unveiled a dedicated new website for the trade that’s been designed as a complete resource hub for the three in one system.
There are a wide range of marketing materials available for download or that can be ordered as part of a pack including brochures, case studies, wallcharts, door drops and a planning and conservation guide for R9. It can weld five H welds in less than four minutes and change from corners to transoms in seconds. It all adds up to a machine that transforms speed and efficiency on the fabrication floor.
Haffner Murat has just reported a dramatic rise in welder sales.
MD Dave Thomas said: “We’re delighted this five head welder is proving so popular. It is the fastest and most accurate welder on the market today and has been designed to add value to every fabricator’s set up.” Just a quick look at the machine’s statistics demonstrate its power. In a single operation it can weld four squares. It’s also capable of welding two

At the same time as transforming speed it also transforms quality: it guarantees 90 degree welding every time thanks to automatic head positioning and self centers for transoms. Despite the machine’s many advantages it has been designed to be easy to use. There’s touch screen control with memory positioning and all operations can be controlled automatically via the PLC. Like all Haffner Murat machines it comes with

the reassurance of expert installation and full training so it can start to deliver return on investment from day one. Finance packages are available subject to status and part exchange is an option. Dave commented: “The SMR-5
Welder gives fabricators what they need in the current market. It’s a machine that speeds up production and improves quality at the same time, allowing them to compete at every level.”
